Lemax's Vibrant Villages & Happy Hamlets

Did you know that all Lemax buildings belong to specially curated villages with distinctive themes and looks? Let’s pay a visit to a few of our favourites and discover what’s new for 2024.

Lemax Caddington Village Holly Jolly HotelLemax Caddington Village Jingle Bell Bazaar

Caddington Village

One glimpse of this quaint hamlet and you’ll see why they say, ‘Christmas is just around the corner in Caddington Village’. Steeped in quaint holiday nostalgia, pieces from Lemax’s most popular village fit perfectly into every holiday miniature collection.

Before we explore, we’ll check into the Holly Jolly Hotel and drop off our luggage. This charming lighted façade also features a fantastic bistro that opens early and closes late so hotel guests never go hungry.

We need to buy gifts, so we’ll shop next door at the Jingle Bell Bazaar. Also a lighted façade, it has exactly what we need: flowers, toys, and sweets.

Lemax Caddington Village Christmas Eve at Grandma'sLemax Caddington Village Christmas at the Park Pavilion

Next stop, grandma’s house! We’ll drop off our gifts and take the whole family to the Park Pavilion for this year’s Carols Concert. As festive lights shine brightly, the choir moves in time to merry music composed specifically for this piece. We’ll be humming this tune all holiday season long.

Lemax Harvest Crossing Deb's Farm N FloralLemax Harvest Crossing Red Barn Veterinary Hospital

Harvest Crossing

Everyone receives a warm ‘country Christmas’ welcome in Harvest Crossing. Small town life inspires lighted buildings that deliver a distinctly rural take on the holiday season. Deb’s Farm-N-Floral sells the best seasonal produce and the most delicious ice cream to be found in a five-county radius. The Red Barn Veterinary Hospital cares for all creatures great and small, from livestock to fur babies.

Lemax Carnival The Spin OutLemax Carnival Friendly Clown Caravan

Carnival

Just a stone’s throw from town, the lights and sights of Carnival Village beckon anyone who yearns to be a kid again. In 2024, everyone’s queuing up for the Spin Out. Get caught up in the moment as the big top turns and three arms spin through the air to a classic circus soundtrack. Position new table accents like this Friendly Clown Caravan to add authentic side-show flavour to your winter-themed fete.

Lemax Santa's Wonderland Li'l Murph's Sleigh ShopLemax Santa's Wonderland Santa's Castle Gala

Santa’s Wonderland

Now we’re detouring to the far frozen north to marvel at Santa’s Wonderland. Upon our arrival, we stop by Li’l Murph’s Sleigh Shop to hire a slick model and travel around town in comfort. –Now where can we rent a reindeer for the day?

Lucky we brought our best snowsuits, because tonight we celebrate Christmas magic at Santa’s Castle Gala. On the topmost balcony, Mr and Mrs Claus waltz to a festive tune as elves look on and nutcrackers circle the left-hand turret, keeping watch.

Lemax Vail Village The Melted SnowflakeLemax Vail Village St Bernard's Brewery & Distillery

Vail Village

Should a skiing holiday be more your style, then call Vail Village home for the season. After a long day on the slopes, treat yourself to phenomenal fondue at The Melted Snowflake. Afterward, grab some spiced apple brandy from St Bernard’s Brewery. These lighted buildings add touches of rustic mountain charm to miniature villages at any elevation.

Whew! After that whirlwind journey, we’re thrilled to return home and sleep in our own beds. Next time we’ll visit confectionary-themed Sugar ‘N’ Spice, Spooky Town Halloween village, maritime Plymouth Corners, and the Norman Rockwell 1960s Americana ‘Home for Christmas’ village. Until then, you can check them all out on our website.

Simplified Shopping

This year, Lemax released an impressive 181 brand new products, including lighted buildings, façades, Sights & Sounds collectibles, and more. They also ‘retired’ 118 products – meaning that those pieces instantly became rare collectors’ items. (Lucky for Lemax fans, Christmas Elves has some of these in stock!)

All up, Lemax authorised retailers have access to a total of 1705 products, and Christmas Elves can help customers purchase every single one of them. We have created a master list so our team can order all active Lemax buildings, figurines, and accessories. Our team can also assist with sourcing spare parts and let you know when a piece has been retired.

Browsing the Lemax collection on our website is easier than ever before. We have redesigned the Lemax brand page, and you will now find a comprehensive list of filters on the left side. Simply tick the boxes to tailor your search according to village name, item category, and the year it was released. If you’re looking for a retired item and know the year it was retired, you can tick that field.

After you tick the boxes, the results will automatically display. We hope these upgraded filters will make exploring and shopping the collection even more enjoyable. And remember, if you have any problems locating any Lemax product, the Christmas Elves team is ready to lend a helping hand.

Brands to Complement Your Imagination

Take your Lemax village to loftier heights when you integrate products from MyVillage, Jägerndorfer, and Glida. If you dream of creating a charming town among majestic mountains, set the scene with highland landscapes and backdrops from MyVillage. Will your mountain retreat offer skiing? –Then instal a Jägerndorfer motorised ski lift so your mini-citizens can hit the slopes. And why not add a snowmobile or two?

Next, bring movement and life to your ultimate alpine destination with more moving pieces. Glida kits offer a motorised belt so that your figurines can take a stroll around a town square or hike up nearby hills. Glida also has its own figurines and easy to attach magnetic bases so they can adhere to the moving belt.

Get swept up in flurries of possibilities when you combine MyVillage, Jägerndorfer, and Glida with Lemax and your limitless imagination. Who knows? Christmas Elves are always on the lookout for ways to help you give your miniature village a ‘glow-up’. Don’t be surprised if we introduce you to even more brands that can help you maximise the magic of Lemax.

Lemax Rare 4 Moonlander Bulb String

From Twinkling Light To Cosy Glow: Adaptors & Bulbs

Light up your village with a range of adaptors and ‘moonlander’ bulbs designed specifically to make Lemax products glow with seasonal splendour. You can power most lighted building and façades, as well as many table accents, with AA batteries. –But why would you go through the hassle of recharging and replacing batteries when adaptors offer much greater convenience?

The vast majority of Lemax pieces accept 4.5V L-type adaptors. However, some require a U-type adaptor. Both can power a single building. And the L-type adaptor can connect to a string of moonlander bulbs, each bulb glowing cosily within its own building.

Speaking of multi-bulb strings, in 2024 Lemax released a new string of three bulbs. This replaces the four-bulb string they have offered since 2017. As luck would have it, Christmas Elves have heaps of the last remaining, rare four moonlander bulb strings. Make sure you get yours while stocks last.

In terms of other handy Lemax adaptor options, we love this one that comes with a triple L-type expansion cable. With it, you can deliver power to more buildings in your expanding collection and give each the space it needs to shine.

Lemax LED Green Moonlander BulbLemax LED Purple Moonlander Bulb

Avoid the stress (and the jokes) about changing light bulbs by having a few extra moonlanders on hand. The white globes, which come with either a white or a black base, give off the soft, warm white light that we’ve all come to love.

But what about other colours? Originally intended for use with Spooky Town products, there’s nothing stopping your from using the green and purple moonlander bulbs in buildings from other villages to display them in a new light. Just imagine how the green bulb would transform a Santa’s Wonderland piece. And wouldn’t a Sugar ‘N’ Spice confection look even more delicious when lit by a purple bulb?

(Wanna know a secret? Although all moonlanders work best when paired with adaptors, they can also take three AA batteries if you intend to use them away from a power point. –See? Lemax’s flexibility is unmatched.)
